Amazons

  • Pentax

    Pentax
    Blue Fronted Amazon

    Pentax is an older gal with a very mild temperament. She is gentle,
    enjoys riding on shoulders and makes friends with birds easily.

  • Radio

    Unknown Amazon AGN+

    Radio has a striking appearance-we can't figure out which subspecies
    he is, possibly a hybrid? He has a great voice that sounds like a
    radio host. Older and well behaved. Enjoys people and birds.

  • Shawna

    Red Lored Amazon

    Shawna is a beautiful bird, older and arthritic. She can climb around
    but prefers to stick to one area. Shy at first, but becomes loving for
    the right person. She loves bells, mirrors, and taking showers with
    her human.

  • Moby


    Orange Shouldered Amazon

    Moby can be either a devoted pet as a single bird, or a best friend to
    another amazon, but not both! He is very pretty, active, and of
    course, loud!

  • Sonata

    Double Yellow Headed Amazon

    Sonata is more of a bird's bird than a pet. She flies well, loves to
    get treats, but won't want much hands on affection. She makes friends
    easily with other birds.

  • Wasabi

    Double Yellow Headed Amazon

    Wasabi loves other amazons and will be fierce to protect. As a solo
    bird, he is much more shy.

  • Hawkeye

    Orange Wing Amazon AGN+

    Hawkeye was not kept as a pet previously, but he isn't aggressive. He
    will take treats and loves other Amazons. Good flyer and very pretty!

  • Billy & Billy's Conure

    Mealy Amazon & Sun Conure Senior Bonded Pair

    These two are quite the loud pair!  Billy is a very old man and can be
    overprotective of his little conure. The sun conure has one eye and is
    very sweet, she steps up readily, Billy will follow to get to her.

  • Gus

    Blue Fronted Amazon

    Gus is a grizzled old man with one good eye. He prefers the company of
    other amazons, and doesn't get around very well.

Macaws

  • Cyrano


    Blue and Gold Macaw AGN+

    Cyrano is a funny guy. He likes to dance, talk, and lean in for head
    rubs. He doesn't grow flight feathers, and usually sprouts one long
    tail feather!

  • Maxine


    Blue and Gold Female
    Max is a zesty lady. She loves digging, chewing, and waving at you
    with one foot. She is quite particular about who she likes. She is
    fairly quiet, as macaws go!

  • Cleo


    Illiger's macaw-AGN+

    Cleo is a big snuggler but is fearful of hands. She can be very loud
    at times but is a lot of fun. She wants to be with you as much as
    possible!

  • Paddywack (Right) & Houdini (Left)

    Paddywhack Harlequin and Houdini Blue and Gold AGN+

    Senior bonded male pair. These guys don't like being handled, but are
    very silly and great talkers. Paddywhack especially loves music and
    sings a little song when he's in a great mood.

  • Silver & Goldie

    SIlver and Goldie B&G's
    AGN+

    Goldie made an incredible recovery from a stroke. She is not 100%
    capable with her feet, but can get around slowly. They love each other
    very much. These two need a safe space where they can just enjoy each
    other.

  • Jolly

    Blue and Gold Macaw

    Jolly recently lost his long-time mate. Since then he's been lonely
    and enjoys company of birds and humans. He steps up well and loves
    treats, is a good sport.

  • Captain

    Scarlet Macaw Male AGN+

    Captain has a tough past but has come a long way. He likes to say
    "Hello", and is always so excited at meal times that he puts his head
    into the bowl to yell about his food! He will need training and
    patience to earn his trust.

  • Pacho


    Blue and Gold Macaw

    Pacho is a gentle and loving older guy. He's been a home bird his
    whole life, and would make the perfect family addition.

  • Lovely


    Scarlet Macaw AGN+

    Lovely is an older bird that is calm, quiet, and lovely! Very sweet,
    gets along with people and birds. Doesn't fly.

  • Fiona


    Scarlet Macaw AGN+

    Fiona is a grand older lady. She's nervous with new people, and will
    take time to soften her up. She is very curious, will lean in as far
    as she can to stare at you and mutter "HELLO?!"

  • Zorian

    Zorian came to us recently. He can talk a lot and likes showing off his dance moves, but is very defensive initially.

Cockatoos

  • Philip


    Moluccan Male AGN+

    Philip is elderly and quite shy. He's never shown any aggression, and
    refuses to bite even when he's anxious. He has arthritic feet and gets
    around slowly. Particularly quiet, he is most happy with a comfortable
    space and toys to play with.

  • Lucy

    Female Umbrella AGN +

    Lucy is older and large for her species. Possibly a hybrid "mobrella".
    She's nervous about stepping up, but is not a biter. Timid at first
    but opens up once she's comfortable. She loves hopping around on the
    floor and throwing toys.

  • Sassy

    Moluccan Female AGN +

    Sassy is very sweet and gentle. She wears a collar for chronic skin
    chewing. She prefers human company to other birds, and wants all the
    attention in the world.

  • Raja


    Goffin’s Cockatoo Male

    Raja is great with other birds but mistrustful of people. He won't
    step up right away, but with time he learns. He is incredibly smart
    and loves puzzle toys, foraging items, etc. He enjoys other cockatoos.

  • Honey & Mr. Pink

    Galah bonded pair. Senior

     Honey is fairly old and has a lot of special needs. Her feet have
    advanced arthritis, which she takes daily meds for. She need regular
    foot baths and nail trims. She is missing part of his beak so soft
    food is required. Mr. Pink will likely outlive Honey, and then will
    return to Flying Colors Aviary. Both are very sweet and low
    maintenance.

  • Powder

    Umbrella Cockatoo

    Powder is very skittish at first, but absolutely melts for the person
    he loves. He can be very loud when excited.

  • Romeo

    Goffins

    Romeo is suspicious at first, but warms right up for the right person.
    Typical goffins, a smart goofball.

Other Birds

  • Zazu


    Congo African Gray

    Zazu is a wonderful talker with a great personality. He'll judge you
    right off the bat and you'll have to earn his trust! He can fly well
    and prefers humans.

  • Tutti

    Tutti AGN+
    Congo African Grey

    Tutti is in his prime. A great flyer, talker, and loves to play with
    people. He will want to be involved in everything. He will let you
    snuggle him when he trusts you.

  • Midori


    Eclectus Male

    Midori is a very loving guy. His favorite spot will be right on your
    chest tucked in under your chin. He has a few daily medications that
    he is happy to take.

  • Dickey


    White-Eyed Conure

    An older gentleman, Dickie is timid when you first meet him. He steps
    up well and is quite sweet. Does fine with other birds.

  • Tank and Finn

    Tank Jenday and Finn Sun Conure

    Tank and Finn are quite bonded, but not at all aggressive. Both are
    older and know how to step up, take treats, and bring themselves to
    their cage for bed. They like flying around together, music, and
    dancing. Tank has a damaged beak and needs food to be softened.

  • Clementine


    Jenday Conure

    Clem is an elderly lady who is happy to be involved. She loves to sit
    on shoulders and wants a piece of your meal! She has an old injured
    wing and cannot fly. Very gentle.

  • Angus


    Eclectus 5 yo Male

    Angus is a super sweet, hand raised boy. He does fly but isn’t very
    good at it. His feathers look poor, and he has stumped our avian vet
    as to why. He’s been on different medications and diets to try and fix
    his look but nothing has really done the trick. He is completely
    healthy internally. He's always curious and loves to eat, ride around
    with you, and join the conversation.

  • Griffin

    Brown Headed Parrot AGN+

    Griffin is older, and very timid at first. He will panic if he sees a
    towel, stick, or crate. Once settled, he's a happy little guy who
    talks and makes sweet noises. He likes head rubs!

  • Lola


    Cherry Headed Conure

    Lola is missing a wing, but is a wonderful climber. She's very smart,
    picky about other birds. She will take time to trust you and step up.

  • Forrest


    Blue Crown Conure AGN+

    Forrest is an older gal who is all bravado. Once she likes you she
    will step up and say, "Whatcha doin?'' "Pretty Bird" and blows a
    raspberry at you. She has one eye!
