Go For Bronze

The Go for Bronze Project was designed to promote awareness and funding to help cover diagnostic testing for birds whose owners in need, with a special emphasis on radiographs (x-rays), which can reveal critical health issues often invisible through routine exams. Many rescued or rehomed birds have unknown medical histories and while annual checkups with bloodwork and gram stains are critical, adding radiographs provides vital insight into a bird’s internal health. X-rays can detect arthritis, organ enlargement, atherosclerosis, heavy metal toxicity, masses, and more—issues that often remain hidden until it’s too late. The Go for Bronze Project was created to make these vital diagnostics accessible to more birds and their caregivers. Early detection can save lives, ease suffering, and help owners make the most of every precious day with their companions.
